The complaints can be filed with respect to provident fund contribution, withdrawal or transfer -These type of complaints can be initiated with the help of this online EPF Complaints portal.

EPF Complaints – Easy steps to file it and get it resolved:
Following are the steps to file the EPF complaints:-
Step 1: Visit EPFiGMS to Register your Grievance Online
Visit http://epfigms.gov.in/ and Click on the “Register grievance” tab to register EPF complaints.
Step 2: Select your Status
Select the category from the “Please Select Status” drop-down list.
- If you are a PF member, enter your UAN (Universal Account Number).
For example, your UAN Number is 2555656, enter in the given space as below:
- If you are an EPS Pensioner, enter your PPO Number.
- If PPO no. isn’t allotted to you then please select status as PF Member.
For example, your PPO Number is 5555555. Enter in the given space as below:
Step 3: Region and State Code
Enter the Region code and State code. Enter the Establishment Code (maximum 7 digits), establishment extension/sub-code (if any). Enter the PF Account number.
For example, your PF Account Number is MH/BAN/090786/OOB/786. Enter in the given space as below:
Step 4: Select the Office
Select the Office to which grievance pertains from the drop-down list.
For example, your office is in Bandra. Select it as below:
Step 5: The Establishment
Enter the Name of Establishment and the address of Establishment.
For example, the name of the establishment is GALAXY CLEANERS. Enter in the given space as below:
Step 6: Enter Your Name and Address & Phone Number
Enter the name and address of the complainant. Enter the Pincode, Country and select state.
Enter Phone number as (Country Code + STD Code-without ‘0’ prefix + Telephone No.). For example 912225555555555. Enter Mobile number as (Country Code & Mobile Number). For example 917777778888. Now, Enter your email id.
Step 7: Select The Grievance Category
Select the Grievance category under which the complaint falls.
Step 8: Describe your Complaint
Enter the Grievance description (maximum 5000 characters).
Step 9: Upload any Supporting Document (if any) and Submit
Upload the Supporting documents (maximum size of 1 MB) to clarify the complaint.
Enter the Captcha and Click on the submit button.
Once the complaint is filed, the complainant is provided with a unique registration number. An employee can use this number to track the status of his/her complaint. The complaint is verified. After that, it is forwarded to the relevant party for resolution. It takes few days to get the complaints resolved.
EPF Complaints can be tracked online. The reminders can be sent using the registration number.

- The complaint registration number must be retained for future reference and correspondence.
- The online EPF complaints registration form allows the complainant to search the establishment code.
- The EPFiGMS system also offers the facility for account holders. Account holders can check their PF account balance status on the EPF complaints portal.
